CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle technique that can find the actual source of the problem affecting you.
It can help release problems in the body that have been there for a very, very long time.
This very relaxing technique helps your body self-correct, which means working with the body's own knowledge and helping it return to a stronger level of health.
Even if you consider yourself to be in good health at this time, CranioSacral Therapy can help keep your body strong and fluid. You will enjoy muscles that move easier, and the general boost will help you cope with everyday stresses.
Some of the things CranioSacral Therapy is good for:
Through my years of working with CranioSacral Therapy I have seen many, many positive effects. The work is different for every person, because each person has their own history, their own past.
CranioSacral Therapy also is good for:
This therapy is also excellent for emotional issues. Often a problematic condition in the body has a locked-in emotion trapped there as well. The un-expressed or repressed emotion can sometimes aggravate the area and actually prevent it from healing completely. Often once the emotion has been expressed, processed, and released, there is a significant improvement.
CranioSacral Therapy and its deeper level SomatoEmotional Release have been used successfully in treating PTSD.
Because the technique of this therapy is so gentle, the body doesn't resist the treatment but instead works with it and will work to re-align itself into the way it is supposed to be. CranioSacral Therapy works with the body, not against it. Nothing is done to impose how the therapist thinks things are supposed to go. This is a therapy that works with the body's natural intelligence to unravel and untangle dysfunctional areas and enable the whole body to live easily once again.
Particulars:
A CranioSacral Therapy session takes one hour for a regular session and one-and-a-half hours for extended sessions. A session gives you a significant full release and allows time for rebalancing before you leave.
Sessions are conducted fully clothed, and usually reclining on a massage table. If you are uncomfortable or unable to lie on the table the sessions can usually be done sitting up.
